Partly desert and partly forest, Garfield County can be very frigid in the winter and cold throughout spring, but the summers are never too intense. Pleasantly warm in the day and cool at night, these hills, cliffs, peaks, and forests are lovely to explore. Fall is not as cool as spring and offers an additional layer of spectacular color over the spectacular views.
